Thanks to LeeOgle SWCD we traveled to Lowell Park near Dixon to experience Outdoor Stewardship Days. Activities featured the water cycle, Illinois fish, prairie grasses, and soils.

The Third Grade Players designed the set and performed the 11th annual Planting Seeds, Spreading Sunshine the Story of Johnny Appleseed at two primetime, standing-room-only showings for friends and family in September.
Pumpkins served as globes for third graders. All the students had to do was fill in latitude and longitude lines, continents, and oceans. The globes made a terrific learning tool when it came to our study of the explorers.
