Text Box: Exciting trips and adventures in Mr. Humphrey's class. In language arts we destroyed cities along the Mississippi as we prepared for the Palisades trip. It was very exciting to see all the destruction happening in our class as we destroyed St. Louis, Moline, and other cities and towns. We are now headed to Arizona and the Grand Canyon to go white water rafting in our newest book Downriver by Will Hobbs.

Text Box:      In 7th grade math we are now exploring measurement and having a good time figuring out how big and small things are. In 8th grade math we have entered the world of Algebra and the world of solving equations. Exciting stuff - the class is looking forward to a big equation party where they can show off their new knowledge. The 6th grade has entered the land of fractions. We are now working with the friendly giant Greatest Common Factor and his buddy Least Common Multiple. We have been to the computer lab to explore numbers.

Text Box:     I am having a great time here and I am enjoying working with all the students, yes ALL the students, and have enjoyed meeting many of the parents. Please give me a holler if you have any questions or if you want to offer me tickets to see the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
