Middle School Science and 7th Grade World Geography
7th Graders stop for a pose before leaving homeroom.
7th Graders are working on the Constitution in Social Studies until break—feel free to quiz them any time on it. We’ve made it through two of the four tests without much trouble and look forward to remaining articles and amendments.
The middle school students all took a field trip to Rochelle Township High School for some hands on experience with chemistry and physics principles and watched the high school students perform a chemistry magic show. Students enjoyed themselves as they learned and practiced some of the same things we have been doing in class.
The 6th grade class is working on plate tectonics and studying earthquakes and volcanoes. They will get to rocks and minerals when we return from break to finish out the 2nd quarter.
Linked below are some short videos of the students participating in activities during the trip. The movies are flash video and if you are using Windows Media Player to view movies you may need a codec to install to watch them or a stand alone player that views flash video. For the link for the codec that will allow you to see the movies in windows media player is Click here.
