2^nd Grade O’Keeffe flowers

 

Artist Georgia O’Keeffe inspired our

2^nd grade with her paintings

of vast plant life.  They used

crayons to create a wax-resist plant

first, then painted over with

watercolor for beautiful backgrounds.

2^nd Grade Ceremonial Elephants

 

2nd Grade has learned about an event in India

where there is a parade of elephants

in celebration of an honored event

called Mysore.
